Miss A's cousin came by for a little play date, so I thought it would be fun to create a small little invitation to play, using a few different sensory mediums. With Halloween around the corner, I knew it had to be something related.Â
What's the first thing you think of when it comes to Halloween? For me, it's the Jack o Lantern. But since pumpkin carving isn't something we've ever done, the next best thing I could think of was - decorate your own pumpkin play doughs! 😂Â
In this set up, I used tangerine play dough, coloured rice, lentils, beans, our Halloween cutters and not forgetting a tool kit for all the rolling, cutting and slicing. I laid out all the materials for them and let them go crazy with decorating their own pumpkins. Oh what fun!
If you're looking for more simple Halloween play ideas, get your little one to brew their own potent potion in a Cauldron Bubble.Â
Enjoy and Happy Halloween!Â
