One of Miss A's aunts gifted this book to her and it's been one of her favourites to read these past two weeks. It's such a cute book with a simple message of friendship, family and togetherness. I particularly love the illustrations of different iconic Singapore attractions and beloved past times - like enjoying kaya on toast.
So for today's play, I recreated a scene from the book - using play dough and coloured rice. I got Miss A to scoop and fill in the 'sand' with the yellow rice. Such a simple activity that helps encourage younger bubs to practise their gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
